Last night we went to a Blue Oyster Cult concert at Rams Head. We thought that we were booked for the 6:30 show, but actually we had tickets for the 9:30.
So, to enhance the evening and to kill time, we went to Joss for dinner. I have to say that I don't think that Joss lives up to the hype that it gets. I think that Fuji Steakhouse in Gambrills has much better sushi even if the Fuju menu doesn't come in four volumes.
We saw Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom (the only two original band members). The band also featured two really young members, Rich Castellano and Jules Radino, neither could have been close to the appropriate age for membership in this band. Rudy Sarzo was performing on bass. Sarzo's performance was fabulous as was Dharma's.
I was very afraid that I would not be able to stay awake so late after my bedtime. I was wrong. Not only was I able to stay awake, I also really enjoyed the concert. Although it was very weird most in the audience had about twenty years or so on us. It was very creepy watching people who looked like my parents chanting "dominance/submission" back and forth to Eric Bloom.
Wow, I knew none of this BOC stuff before last night.
